various functions: like weddings, anniversaries, holiday parties, and industry shows. More information can be found on the About US page. Here's an example:The Peter Cole Band mp3 (13 minutes - 13 Meg)

If you're a musician who uses MIDI files and you find working out the chords too difficult or time consuming?
Why not let MIDI Chords do all that hard work for you - completely automatically!!
MIDI Chords will Scan your General MIDI Type 1* (multiple track) or Type 0 (single track) MIDI file, Analyze it and then offer you the chance to View the results or Print them out directly from your printer.
Omit any MIDI channel by simply clicking on a instrument from the list created automatically by MIDI Chords. Percussion (MIDI Channel 10) will always be ignored.
MIDI Chords will automatically create a frequency graph of all the notes in the song to determine its key!
MIDI Chords can produce chords in any one of three different complexity levels.
* Simple mode limits the display of chords to Major, Minor, 7th and Minor7th.
* Moderate option will produce chords which are Major, Minor, 7th, Minor 7ths or Maj7.
* Full option when selected will also search for 6th, diminished and augmented chords.
Select the frequency of chord display.

When viewing the generated list of chords each Bar (Measure) is numbered in the left hand column. Contained within a pair of vertical lines are the beats of that bar and the chords it has determined. If a chord is repeated the / symbol is used. A dot indicates that MIDI Chords was unable to form a complete chord from the notes present at that time point. Likewise if MIDI Chords was unable to form a chord but a note was found by itself it will be displayed in parentheses.

"I really don't know where to fault OnStage - it didn't even crash once. I wouldn't have expected any kind of editing features, yet you can still modify individual track information to a useful degree. I had reservations about the limit of only 16 MIDI channels, but then Hands On's own 16+ Cartridge, which allows another stream of 16 MIDI channels to be addressed, (can be used to expand this).
OnStage is inexpensive, intuitive to use, and invaluable for the working musician."
FEATURES: "An innovative idea which allows you to save on a dedicated MIDI data file filer by using your ST in a live situation. It's a well designed program and has more editing features than any data filer."EASE OF USE: "Easy to set, easy to organise files for playback and easy to use live - even without a monitor."

There may come a time when you may need to convert your MIDI data from TYPE 1 (Multi track) to TYPE 0 (single track) as preferred by some hardware and keyboard sequencers. These various programs are available to help:-
System Requirements : Min 386SX, 4Meg Ram, 5Meg Hard Disk

Converts Type 1 MIDI files into Type 0 MIDI files. Uses DOS switch commands to access features as described above. Can be used with batch files for multiple processing - sample batch file included.
Converts Type 0 MIDI files into Type 1 MIDI files. Reverses the process of Zero Gen. One Gen will accept any type 0 MIDI files and explodes the data onto individual tracks by MIDI Channel, creating a type 1 MIDI file. Can be used to run batch files - sample batch file included.
Windows program that converts 1 to 0 and 0 to 1 using the same principles as Zero Gen for Windows, but does both operations from one simple interface.

Converts a Standard MIDI file to Steinberg's PRO 24 V3 'SONG' File format. Users with this sequencer will have experienced the problems of importing standard MIDI files.
Without Pro 24 Gen, every song plays at 100 BMP, in 4/4 time, with all the tracks set to NONAME. System Exclusive data is often ruined during this importing routine. This simple utility can be used to automatically convert each MIDI file into a .SNG file. Once a file is converted, use the Load SONG function as normal.
Converts Type 1 MIDI files into Type 0 MIDI files. Added options include the choice to remove any MIDI channel before converting.
This utility disk contains over 158 different MIDI files of System Exclusive commands for the Roland GS series of devices.
Each discreet MIDI file can be used to alter specific areas of these popular devices. Each disk contains the information to enable the changing of these parameters.
* Global Reverb & Chorus levels (26 levels included)
* Secondary drum kits on MIDI channels 1 to 9 or 11 to 16

Backbeats are a range of drum rhythm patterns. These drum patterns can be incorporated and used as a basis for new and original works. Find a section of music you like and then use the cut and paste facility of your sequencer to copy and repeat sections to build up a complete drum part.
Currently there are three different versions available....
Each of these is a collection is based around a central style:
1) Rockbeats is a collection of MIDI files of Rock/Pop drum styles,
2) Ravebeats is based upon Dance and Rave styles.
3) Contempory beats contain older styles (Quickstep, Cha Cha etc.,)
